1. Become a prayer partner for one of our missionaries or staff.
2. Pray regularly for CALMS' ministry using the prayer list in our monthly CALMS E-Letter.
Pray for Miles and Elma Richmond, CALMS' new missionaries to Guatemala. Ask God to bless them with a smooth transition to their new home in Estanzuela, Guatemala and to bless their language learning and relationships with their Guatemalan neighbors and friends. Ask the Lord to give wisdom to them as they provide counsel for the growing housing and human care ministries in that country.
Pray for CALMS' housing ministry in Guatemala and for our vision to build over 100 new homes for needy people in the next three years. Ask God to use these efforts to help improve the lives of those living in difficult circumstances and to grow His church.
Pray for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Panama (IELPA) and its leaders as they help their congregations reach out with the Good News of Jesus and help plant new churches.
Ask the Holy Spirit to encourage the three missionaries serving in the Dominican Republic to work together as a team-with each other and with their Dominican co-workers-so that the emerging Lutheran church can be united.
Thank God for CALMS' new missionary to Belize, Peg Wolfram, who will be responsible for helping building relationships with our Belizean partners, assisting CALMS' short-term teams with orientation and logistics and helping equip Belizean leaders for more effective ministry.
Ask the Lord of the Harvest to multiply the efforts of CALMS' staff and volunteers so that this ministry can be a blessing to many in Central America and North America.
