| Description | A team of two to four persons are needed to equip health care workers who need in-service training to work more effectively to deliver rehabilitation and physical therapy to special needs children being served by the Lutheran Mission in the Dominican Republic and their partners. |
| Desired Results | As a result of this project, Dominican special needs children will have on-going rehabilitation and therapy. Dominican leaders chosen for this special program will be equipped and feel competent adn confident in serving Dominican people with special needs. |
| Skills Needed | A team of three to six people. At least two persons on the team should have experience and a degree in physical therapy, ideally with people who have disabilities. At least one person on the team with good Spanish language skills. At least one person on the team with a background in social work or working with disable people. All members of the team should have a strong faith-walk and be recommended by their pastor(s). |
