Description

A team of two dentist and several assistants will work with two Dominican dentists to exam and perform needed dental services for children and their families at the Lutheran Home and School in Santiago and with families of people with disabilities being served by the Lutheran Mission in the Dominican Republic.

Desired Results

As a result of this project, Dominican children who do not now have access to adequate dental care will have a dental checkup, necessary intervention and basic orientation to good dental hygiene.

Skills Needed

A team of at least two dentist and two dental assistants; Ideally at least one person on team with good Spanish language skills. All members of the team should have a strong faith-walk and be recommended by their pastor(s).
