How to Get Involved

1. Pray!
   1. Become a prayer partner for one of our missionaries.
   2. Pray regularly for our CALMS ministry using the prayer list in our monthly CALMS eLetter.
2. Learn!
   1. Subscribe to and read our CALMS monthly eLetter.
   2. Invite CALMS to speak in your congregation or school.
   3. Create bulletin boards and displays that tell the story of the good things God is doing in Central America.
3. Give!
   1. Give a financial gift to CALMS to grow God's Church in Central America.
   2. Sponsor a needy child in Panama, Guatemala or the Dominican Republic so they can stay in school and become all that God created them to be.
   3. Donate congregational videotapes or audiotapes of Bible Classes and worship.
   4. Donate special gifts: music instruments, used office equipment, liturgical art, sound equipment, Sunday School materials, etc. to help grow the national churches' ministries.
4. Tell!
   1. Share with others what you've learned about CALMS and our ministry.
   2. Share with others the good things God is doing through CALMS - the way God is changing lives and growing his church.
5. Send!
   1. Help defray the cost of a short-term mission team member.
   2. Provide frequent flyer miles for a short-term mission team member.
   3. Pray for short-term mission teams every day they are gone.
6. Go!
   1. Participate in a short-term mission team.
7. Celebrate!
   1. Encourage your congregation to celebrate all of the wonderful things God is doing to grow his church in Central America by bringing people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
   2. Celebrate God's grace at work in Central America in your personal devotions.
   3. Celebrate God's grace at work in Central America in your Bible Classes and Sunday Schools.
