Circle of Friends

Partner with CALMS: Rev. Steve Hughey, Executive Director; Dawn Timm, Logistics Coordinator; and Cindy Dube, Sponsor-A-Child Coordinator, in helping our Lutheran missionaries and the national churches of Central America and the Caribbean to bring 5000 more people into a living relationship with Jesus in the next three years. Help us provide needed funding to equip pastors and workers in Central America to be more effective ambassadors of Jesus Christ.

By God's grace, CALMS has grown tremendously and with new leadership, we hope to see even more growth. In addition to the original work in Panama, CALMS now is doing important work in Panama, Guatemala, Belize, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. In the past year alone, CALMS' Sponsor-a-Child program has grown from twenty children in Panama to one hundred thirty children in Panama. And our operating budget has grown from $65,000 to more than $250,000 - all in one year. To continue responding to the many ministry opportunities God is providing CALMS to help grow his church in Central America, we need your help. Members of the CALMS Circle of Friends provide regular monthly, quarterly or anual financial support and regular prayer to help CALMS respond to new opportunities, to assist our national ministry partners in Central America and the Carribean and to provide the necessary ministry tools needed to support a growing ministry.
